WEEK FIVE: Rise Above Enemy Lines

Week Five: Rise Above Enemy Lines

Here are five questions to dig, discover, discuss, and do:

1.   Who comes to mind when you read, “Love your enemies”? Why?

2.  If Jesus’ dikaiosune is the power and resource that enables us to rise above disrespect and hurt, what 5S is most urgent and important for you right now so you can begin living in the flow of Jesus?

Through Solitude we EXPERIENCE dikaisosune.

Through Scripture we EXAMINE dikaisosune.

Through Service we EXPRESS dikaisosune.

Through Support we EXCHANGE dikaisosune.

Through Significant Events we EXERCISE dikaisosune.

3.   Matthew 5:48 says, “Grow up. You’re kingdom subjects. Now live like it. Live out of your God-created identity. Live generously and graciously toward others, the way God lives toward others, the way God lives toward you.” (The Message) What is keeping you from the best version of yourself, the maturing version that lives in the freedom of Christ, the version that rises above?

4.    We love only to the degree we believe we have been loved. Where are you with fully accepting this daily affirmation: “I am a beloved child of the Most High God with supreme value and worth just as I am today.”

5.  Can you pray for your enemy right now?
